Life is Good

One of life's most enjoyable pleasures is sitting outside on a warm summer evening, watching the sun go down. You have your cool drink in your hands and your feet are being tickled by the grass. Taking a deep breath of the fresh air, you think to yourself, yes, all is well with the world, until....OUCH!  The MOSQUITOS ATTACK!!! But fear not!  You don't have to be a sitting duck for those pesky blood-suckers! You can fight back! Yes, that's right, folks, you can mix up your very own all natural mosquito repellent right in your kitchen! Just add several drops citronella oil to some witch hazel. Mix in a spray bottle and use every hour or so. You can also spray on decks, patios, etc. Add citronella to regular lamp oil or candles to repel insects as well. What? You don't HAVE any citronella??? Never fear, mosquitos also HATE OIL!  Olive or vegetable oil can be used in place of the Witch Hazel. Add  oregano, eucalyptus, tea tree, or any other strong scented herb to the oil and pour into a dispenser bottle. Reapply every 2 hours. Your skin will love it and the mosquitos will have to go look for some other unsuspecting victim.

Ahhh, life is good.
